Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Carbon, Texalium, and E-Glass?

Carbon Fiber: Carbon Fiber is top of the line choice material in any composite industry. Carbon produces a very stiff, strong, and lightweight board. It is twice as strong and stiff as e-glass, but does not flex like texalium. Texalium: Texalium is an aluminum coated fiberglass. It is not as stiff as carbon but is stronger than e-glass. E-Glass: This is the most common fiberglass used in the composite industry. It is a very good material to work with and has great structural integrity for it’s price. E-Glass is not as stiff or strong as Carbon or Texalium but works well if you are on a budget.
