Day 2 of the Panama City Skim Jam started off chilly but turned out to be an amazing sunny day. After some bad weather from day 1 the skim went from pretty much flat to fun knee to thigh high liners from west to east. The pro semi-final heats were very close leaving team riders Dave “Monster” Armstrong and Stephen Bradford with 5th and 6th place overall. The pro final was action packed ending with a tie for first place between Dave Scott and Brad Domke. After an hour of tabulating, the Skim USA crew added up the rest of the scores and awarded Domke first place over Dave by a .5 score. AM team riders Zach Mandeville and Mickey Kendall both advanced to the finals with Zach taking 2nd place and Mickey 4th.
Overall it was a great weekend in PCB and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year. Make sure to check out the day 2 photos below. Next stop is the Southside Shootout, June 6th and 7th. Come try Boomhowers new Voyager shape and Max’s M5 pro model!
