2025 was a whirlwind of a year for team rider Mason Broussard. Starting off the year with surgery on his wrist, he wasn't sure how the year would go. But after getting through it and putting in the work to get back on his board, he had a heck of a year! We caught up with him to go over some highlights and see what he has planned for the off-season and looking into 2026! Check it out now.
ZAP: Hey Mason, how did 2025 treat you?
Mason: 2025 was a blast! I went to Cabo for the first time and got to see some of the biggest skim I’ve ever seen at a contest before! The rest of the year was great as well! Always love competing with the best in the world and showing everyone what we love to do!
ZAP: What were some moments that stood out to you over the year?
Mason: Earlier this year I got to spend some time down in South Florida at the GlasPro Headquarters and it was amazing to see what goes on behind the scene to make everything happen! Shoutout to the dream team down there making everything happen!
ZAP: Anything you would have done differently in hindsight?
Mason: I wouldn’t say so! I had surgery on my wrist at the beginning of the year and am very blessed and thankful to be able to ride out the rest of the 2025 skim season ending with a finish of:
- Skim USA - 2nd Pro Men
- UST - 8th Place Pro Men
ZAP: What are your plans for the off-season?
Mason: Rest, recover, and spend time with family and friends!
ZAP: How about for 2026? Have you booked any trips or anything?
Mason: No trips booked just yet but I do have some places in mind.
ZAP: What are you most excited about for this upcoming season?
Mason: Can’t wait to be back shredding with friends from all over doing what we love!
ZAP: Thanks for catching up with us Mason. Is there anything else you’d like to tell us?
Mason: I would like to say shoutout to all my sponsors for the support this year! Very blessed to do what I love and anything can happen if you put your mind to it!
