The second stop of the European Skim Tour took us to the legendary shores of Trafalgar, Spain — and what a weekend it was!
Trafalgar delivered some seriously fun conditions, with clean liners running along the beach, giving the riders plenty of opportunities to attack the waves, throw down big manoeuvres and showcase their style. From the first session to the final heats, the level of skimboarding was high and the stoke was even higher.
A huge congratulations to our Brazilian ZAP rider Romário de Sousa, who took the win after an outstanding performance throughout the competition. Mexican ZAP rider Yahir Valencia also delivered an incredible performance, securing a well-deserved third place and another podium finish for the team. Yahir now is leading the Euro Skim Tour!

The ZAP Team arrived in full force, bringing together also other riders from across the globe: Sonny Boy from the Philippines, Kika and Mega from Portugal, Júlia Espinosa representing Spain, and Brito Barros from Cabo Verde. Together with the competitive team, they brought the full ZAP spirit to the beach — good energy, good sessions and plenty of memorable moments both in and out of the water.
But Trafalgar was about more than just results. The clean liners, the competitive heats, the sessions between competitions and the incredible atmosphere around the beach made this stop one to remember.
With riders representing Brazil, Mexico, the Philippines, Portugal, Spain and Cabo Verde, Trafalgar once again showed the international spirit of the European Skim Tour and the strong community behind ZAP.
Our zap friend Andre Costa took 1st Place on Under-14 and he is also leading the Euro tou.
Different countries. Different styles. One team. ZAP Team vibes.
The competition may be over, but the tour continues. More waves, more travelling, more progression and, of course, more skimboarding.
