2026 Pacific Wave Open

The event formerly known as the Pacific Wave Pro Am returns with a new name and the same world-class shorebreak action. The 2026 Pacific Wave Open goes down Saturday, September 12th at Moran Lake Beach in Santa Cruz, kicking off the season as the opening stop of the 2026 Premier West Coast Skim Tour and bringing together skimboarders from up and down the coast for a day of high-speed liners, big wraps, and heavy sections just feet from the sand.
Operated by Premier Skim, the Santa Cruz–based nonprofit dedicated to growing skimboarding through competitions, camps, and community programs, the Pacific Wave Open is built for riders at every level — from groms to seasoned veterans. Riders can compete in six divisions:
- 12 & Under
- 15 & Under
- 16+
- 40+
- Women 16+
- Open
Heats will be judged on wave selection, technical difficulty, and style, with the schedule running through the day as the tide allows.
Spectators are always welcome — admission is free, and every ride happens right at the water's edge. Come for the contest, stay for the community.

2026 Zap Skimboards Open

October 17th at Point Magu, Malibu CA, formerly the Zap Skimboards Pro/Am, this event has delivered firing conditions and packed heats year after year — and as the second of three stops on the 2026 Premier West Coast Skim Tour, it's where title races take shape and riders fight to carry momentum into the season finale.
Operated by Premier Skim, the Santa Cruz–based nonprofit dedicated to growing skimboarding through competitions, camps, and community programs, the Zap Skimboards Open welcomes riders at every level. Riders can compete in six divisions:

- 15 & Under
- 16+
- 40+

2026 Golden Coast Classic

The 2026 Premier West Coast Skim Tour comes down to this. The event formerly known as the Aliso Pro Am returns as the 2026 Golden Coast Classic, going down Saturday, November 14th at Aliso Beach in Laguna Beach — the most iconic skim break on the planet and the perfect stage for a season finale.
As the third and final stop of the tour, everything is on the line: the last tour points of the year will be handed out on the sand at Aliso, and the 2026 West Coast Skim Tour champions will be crowned when the day is done.
