The Shaka Gnar event in support of the “Caleb Would Go” organization on June 10th, 2023 was nothing short of a good time. The “Caleb Would Go” organization promotes funding missionaries to honor the legacy of Caleb Bell. Zap was stoked to be a part of this event because there is a real sense of community that goes into it. The day was filled with awesome events like a paddle board relay race, mural contest, mini ramp skate jam, sand sculpture contest, Megalodon fun run, and of course a skim competition! With team riders Dylan Duncan, Gerardo and Yahir Valencia, Gio Tomasi, and Will Grady in attendance, the skimming definitely went off. This event was all about bringing the skim community together for a fun time and we absolutely loved being a part of it.
