The South Side Shoot Out ended with some really fun conditions and great weather. The morning started of pretty windy but as the day went on the winds backed off and the waves cleaned up. There was about a 2-3ft swell in the water which is a nice size for this contest location. Local Zap AM Casey Ritzer stood out taking 1st in boys and in the semi-pro divisions! Casey Kiernan and Libby Rendall took 2nd and 3rd in the women’s professional division. Other Amateur standouts Sam McCoy took 1st in jr mens and 2nd in semi-pro. Naji Taha took 4th in his division and in semi-pro. All in all it was a great contest for the Zap crew. Check out photos from the event and free skim session below! Hope to see you at the next one.
