Mason Broussard, coming off of a sick 2025 season, has his sights set squarely on 2026. Known as the “ATV” rider, Mason kills it on any kind of board which definitely influences his style on the skimboard. Style that we love to see! After a hectic 2025 and a short off-season, Mason is gearing up for 2026. We caught up with him to see where his head is at and what he’s stoked for this season. Check it out.

ZAP: What’s up, Mason? How was your off-season?
Mason: My off season has been very short, with the end of UST tour in Newport Beach 27th/28th and the start of the Skim USA tour in Melaque, Mexico January 17th/18th. I have been enjoying the time away from the contests though while training, resting, and spending time with friends and family! Excited to get back into it though!
ZAP: Where are you right now?
Mason: I am currently in California getting ready for the 1st stop of the UST Tour March 13th-15th! It’s going to be sick!
ZAP: How is your 2026 shaping up? Anything you’re really looking forward to?
Mason: I’m very excited about my new 2026 Pro Model! Also looking forward to seeing friends and skimming with them around the world! If you don’t know, check it out now!
ZAP: Which events do you plan on doing?
Mason: I plan on doing as many contests as I can! It’s a blessing to be able to go show everyone what I can do and hype up the community!
ZAP: We just dropped your new pro model for 2026. How are you feeling about it?
Mason: Very Stoked and grateful! It’s everything I love in a board and if you give it a rip, I bet you’ll love it too.
ZAP: What kind of rider would benefit from your pro model board?
Mason: Any rider looking to step up their riding level and is skimming on one or every coast. I’ve ridden my pro model in many different conditions and it’s a great all around skimboard!
ZAP: What have you been up to outside of skimming? Skating, snowboarding?
Mason: I have been skating a little bit and filming for some different video parts coming soon.
ZAP: Do you have any sick trips planned outside of the contest trips?
Mason: Not as of now. But there’s always time!
ZAP: Whose skimming is getting you stoked these days?
Mason: Everyone that is sending it and testing the limits! I love to see it.
