The 2026 Florida Pro/Am kicked off with some fun conditions for the competitors today. Vilano Beach delivered some fun 1-2’ waves for the morning rounds and the riders took full advantage. First in the water was the youngest divisions and they put on a show! Some highlights were Bodhi Boomhower, Camden White, and Giorgio Tomasi. From there we jumped into the first round of Pro’s. John Akerman, Graham Shelton, and Gerardo Valencia all won their prospective heats jumping them straight into round 3. In round 2 of the Pro’s, Leo Freitas won his heat to make it into the third round. After the Pro’s were all finished, we made our way into more of the Amateur rounds. Conditions started to worsen as the day went on with the tide dropping out. Will Grady shredded his way into the Semi’s of the 18-21 division and all the riders made the best of the conditions.
We are stoked for Finals day tomorrow and looking forward to an action packed day where we will crown the Florida Pro/AM Champions and overall Crossover Tour Champion! Check out some photos of all the action below.
