After an incredible weekend at the Ocean Spirit – UST Santa Cruz, where Yahir Valencia and Alex Yokley claimed the Men’s and Women’s Open titles, the Zap Team headed to Sesimbra on Monday for one final stop before wrapping up the tour.
The day was all about enjoying the moment, giving back to the local skimboarding community, and celebrating an unforgettable week together. We were warmly welcomed by the team at Japona Culture Shop, who treated our riders and participants to welcome drinks and great food before the afternoon session.
From there, we made our way to the beach for a relaxed skim demo, where our riders showcased their skills and spent time helping beginners with tips, technique, and encouragement in the water.
To finish the tour in true Zap fashion, we gathered for one last dinner at Contraste Bar—a place that has become a tradition whenever the team visits Portugal.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us throughout the week, supported the events, and shared the stoke. Seven days, countless memories, and one unforgettable adventure.
