RECAP | Surf Expo in Orlando, FL
We just wrapped up a rad time in Orlando, FL for Surf Expo last week. We got to see a lot of familiar faces and met tons of new ones. Surf Expo is always a rad time because we get to nerd out over our boards with people who are just as stoked as we are! With team riders like John Akerman, Gerardo Valencia, and Jason Wilson hanging out and chatting it up with anyone and everyone, we stayed busy all week long.

RECAP | Oktoberfest Day 1
That time of year has come, and we are back at the Exile Oktoberfest for the 21st edition, of the coveted contest, in Newport Beach, California for the grand finale of the 2026 UST season! The start of a historical weekend, with a beautiful day, with some less than stunning conditions, the team made do. About a chest high wave at biggest, but super troughy the barrels were far and few to find, especially as the day went on.

RECAP | Day 2 of Skim Bash 2026 in Seabright, NJ
Wrap it up and put a bow on it! The 2026 Skim USA Season has officially come to a close, and it is time to go home! A beautiful and most exciting finish for Team Zap getting it done. Finals day was one for the books with all-time Sea Bright conditions it made for an unforgettable day. Starting the day off in the rain, in the mid 70’s with waist to chest high, southeast swell, and no wind until about 1pm it was kind of dreamy.

As quickly as it came is as quick as it is leaving. The last stop of the 2026 Skim USA Tour is here, in none other than the beautiful Sea Bright Beach, New Jersey. With tour titles on the line and last bragging rights to claim, we are in for quite the week The most exciting tour races for Team Zap to be decided this weekend are, the Pro Men, between our very own Mason Broussard and Elian Juarez; the Boys division, Gio Tomasi and Brody Chandler-Thompson; the Jr. Men’s division, Yuan Bonhayag and Lachlan Sweeney.

The 44th year of the Zap Pro/Am World Championships of Skimboarding went down in Dewey Beach Delaware a couple of weeks ago and we are still buzzing over it! With over 200 competitors, a record breaking attendance at a skim contest ever, and over 20 Zap Team Riders, we had a ball! Three full days of action with non-stop pumping waves, the best conditions this contest has seen in a few years, we couldn't get enough!
