2019 Shorelb Mulligans Skim Jam & Shop Visits
We had a great time this past weekend at the 2019 Mulligans Skim Jam hosted by Shorelb. The conditions were a bit rough but it was very manageable to skim and lots of epic tricks were getting thrown down. Congrats to our team riders for placing in the event over the weekend.

Overhead Surf Shop Skim Jam 2019
We had an amazing time time this past weekend partnering up with our good friends at overhead surf shop on there first skim jam since 5 years back! The conditions were good with a fun solid day in the sun of Florida's paradise sunshine. We want to congratulate our 2 team riders for placing in there divisions. Zack Carter skimming in mens pro super heat taking 1st and team rider ET Beaugrand taking 4th in the advanced division.

Zap Pro/Am World Championships of Skimboarding 2019
We are just under 2 weeks away from the 2019 Zap Pro/Am World Championships of Skimboarding. You won't find a more stacked lineup of skimboarders from around the world competing in Dewey Beach, DE. All of the top Zap riders will be there including Bruno Sa from Brazil, Gerardo Valencia from Mexico, and Yahir Valenica from Mexico. This will be the first time Bruno and Yahir will compete in the United States. Among the International riders, Zack Carter who has won 3 stops on the Skim USA tour will be competing so there will be plenty of fireworks going down!

Right at Home in Mainland Mexico- Episode 2
This episode takes us on a journey through the absolute heart of what the Valencia brothers call home. Panga boats are the transportation through Barra De Navidad, they're like mainland Mexico taxicabs, so we hopped on one and started our day with a hike and adventure over to Coco's for a little swim and chill sesh. We ended up hanging at the Valencia's house that evening and Yahir and Gerardo absoutely scored an insane skim session, literally in their back yard. The following day Gerardo took us to the city of Cihuatlan for the Dia de la Virgin de Guadalupe. This is possibly the largest celebration of Mexican culture held every year and Gerardo was so stoked to share it with us. He's never missed one, ever, and we were there to share this one with him. It was a truly special experience. We wrap up with a classic sunset skim session in Melaque with John and Gerardo. What an opportunity it was to be able to share the waves with the Melaque locals. Their stoke is so pure and the passion for skimming there is incredible.

Spring Fling Skim Jam 2019 Recap
Back in March we held a Just for Fun event in our hometown of Nokomis Beach, FL. The day started out with a free skim clinic where we had close to 75 participants ranging from beginners to experienced riders. We had some of the best counselors come out for the event with John Akerman, Cole Hutchinson, Jared Dugan, Jason Wilson, Naji Taha, Benny Ray, and ET Beaugrand. There definitely was nothing but smiles to be seen around the beach with this crew at the helm.
